Pretty neat looking, I sorta like the basic plane jane models, with maybe night sights but that TRP is a fancy 1911 I'd actually consider buying, just wish it didnt have ambi safety! It always gets in the way for me, but nice piece. You liking your surefire?

I love my surefire, I have one on my glock 21 as well.

The ambi safety could be swapped for a single....

Oh they make them without the ambi? Or you mean I can swap it but would still have a hole on the right side?

Mind me asking how much they run typically? I'm sorta tempted in one to be frank.

No the hole would be covered by the single safety, this perticular half rail specimen is off roster. I have seen them go $1400-1800...

It's a 10 round, so no.

Ah got it. I thought it held more than 10 rounds since it has an extended mag.

I bought a full rail TRP Operator 5 yrs ago...some of the best $ I've ever spent!

Possession of "high capacity" pre-ban magazines is not illegal in the state of CA. Buying, selling and importing, unless the magazine is disassembled and done so as a rebuild kit, is another story.
