XDm slip on grip

I'm looking to buy a slip on grip for my XDm compt. series.

Has anyone used this before? If so what do you guys think of it?

Hmm, looks like a good one. I was asked one time if the grip size was the same on the XD and XDm. If you use the Large insert on the XDm it's the closest to the grip on the XD. Not sure how tight the fit would be if you like using the Small insert. I prefer the small insert on my XDm, but I stippled it for a little extra traction.

I use them on my XD...wouldn't shoot it without it ......highly recommended!! Hell i have a backup one in my bag if the one shoot goes down .

Never liked finger groove grips, I run the rubber decal grips on my XD 45 compact.

I've been running the Houge version on my XD recently. It has a little nub that catches the bottom of the backstrap and is cut a little lower so as to not interfere with the grip safety. I believe it's called the Handall?

Might be worth checking out. It does have a pretty large palm swell, though. I have pretty big mitts, so it works for me. I do take it off here and there and I like the standard grip too

I looked at that last year but I saw it was listed for full size frame? I didn't see compact frame size? Do they have new size?

I have a hogue grip for my g4 g19 and it does have some palm swell. I dont have nig hands but its fine

It saids that it was made for the xd or xdm grips. Ive read some reviews on amazon and some people said it moves a bit. I guess its not on really tight like the hogue grip. The reason why i want to give this brand a try instead of the hogue, the other brand doesnt seem to have the palm swell like the hogue. Although i have the hague grip for my glock and it does feel good even with palm swell. I dont have big hands so i have the small inserts on both my pistols(glock & xdm). Well if i dont like it ill sell it on here if need b.

I use a piece of bicycle tube cut to fit. The local bike shop throws out tubes all the time. I think it was a mountain bike tube. No finger grooves or palm swells which is fine with me.

i tossed mine, it can move, causing your grip to be off and pinching your fingeragainst the trigger guard. Bike tube wont do that however b/c no finger grooves. i just stippled mine.

Slip ons suck The decal grip option is really the only way to go. Slip ons...well they slip. We used to cut them off students guns where I worked in NV. Waved them like scalps and whooped like savages in the lunch area...

I have had my Pachmayr sleeve on my XD for two years and it as not moved one bit. I really like it. I bought it because I shoot out doors in the summer and sweaty hands and polymer frames are not best friends.
Like I said mine has not moved or slipped one bit....maybe I am just lucky.

BTW, Midwayusa sells them for $9.99!

i'll give it a try. I'm thinking if leaving on the stock grip which is smallest it may slide a bit.

The pachmayr sleeve smells like a chemical factory and it's on there some what loose. The only thing i like the pachmayr is that it doesn't really add bulk like the hogue. But the hogue doesn't smell bad and its on my glock alot tighter than the pachmayr on my xdm. If pachmayr made it specifically for the xdm, you would think it would be on there tighter.
