small 9mm with single action trigger?

I would like to get a small 9mm (smaller the better) handgun that has a single action trigger. Whats out there that you have liked?

would prefer it to be single stack....small all around, ya know?

intent would be to carry, thus the small size desire

9mm because I already have 9mm and all the reloading dies/brass/projectiles. I really dont want to get into another caliber at this moment.

and single action because thats what I am used to and like. I suppose i could go for a DA gun but the trigger would need a shorter, lighter pull for me.

if its off roster, its ok as long as I can SSE it.

the kimber solo looks good on paper, but I have not seen one in person.

The Kimber Solo sounds like it fits - but I've also heard they are problems with them, that will likely get sorted out. It may be better to avoid version 1.0 in that one. They are also hard to find, I think.

The Sig 238 is close, but its a .380, not a 9 mm.

The CZ Rami is a small 9mm, but I don't think its a single stack.

The Kel-Tec PF 9 is single stack, I think, but also striker fired, if that matters. (I could be wrong - I've never even held one).

I'd like to find a small, single-stack, DA/SA 9 mm. I keep hoping they'll come out with an LC9 that's DA/SA. Though I may just cave and get one as is, and see if I can deal with the trigger and reset.

Springfield EMP might fit the bill.
      Current Armory:
      HK p7m8
      Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm
      Hi-Power Practical
      Baby Eagle 9mm
      P99 AS
      Glock 43

STAR Firestar M43, 9mm single stack, SAO. Forged steel frame, built like a tank. Accurate n' dependable.

Search the gun shows. Around $300 in good condition.

I'll have to second the Star M43 if you want single action. I prefer a Kahr K9. They are very similar in size. No gun is perfect. there are tradeoffs that have to be accepted in compact carry guns. After years of searching, buying.shooting, etc. I settled on these two. If you try the M43, be sure that you use factory mags and that the safety operates properly. I have seen several, including mine, that the safety will appear to be engaged, but the hammer is not at full cock. If you pull the trigger with the safety on, the gun will not fire, but when the safety is clicked off, the hammer will fall. Very disconcerting. Cock the hammer back to full cock when applying the safety, It will be fine. I'm sure there is a fix, but parts, other than mags, are expensive and have to be ordered from Spain.

                  EMP, Sig 225, Sig 239, S&W 39 (or 2nd, 3rd gen of same series).

Springfield EMP. IMO it's a much better choice than the Kimber and sounds like it fits your specifications to a tee.
