quick question about trasnporting

Has the Open Carry Ban effected transporting my gun from my house/range to the car's trunk, or from the car's trunk to the house/range?

Do I have to lock them all up before trasporting?

Same transporting rules apply. Always lock up handguns, and rifles around school zones. Best rule of thumb, lock everything all the time.

If you had been open-carrying them outside your house before, probably should now keep handguns in locked containers in most places in CA.
