    Glock question

Is it true that one can take the 9mm barrel out of a G-19 and put in a .40 or .357 Sig barrel (and recoil spring) and start shooting?
ie No fitting or reinforcing required.

and start using 40 S&W mags as well

    Thanks

I recall reading somewhere that you can convert a 40/357 sig to 9mm but not the other way. Some say you need to swap the extractor. Plus you need a 9mm magazine

      no, the other way around.

40 to 9mm only need a conversion barrel and a new magazine
Freedom in the USA is not the freedom from offense. It is actually the freedom to offend.

No, the breach face is too narrow for .40

            A conversion barrel is required.
