Best way to reduce trigger pull on Sig P220???

I have an older German Sig P220 from the mid 90's. Has the "older style" long mainspring. Would swapping out the mainspring to the new style mainspring housing and spring help bring down the DA pull of my Sig?

    Thanks

It isn't a matter of down as much as feel.

The older spring starts out lighter and stacks throughout the trigger stroke, the newer spring starts out heavier, but remains constant through the stroke.

Trigger stroke smoothness is much more important than weight. I'd consider sending it to Grayguns to have the action tuned

I would check out Robert Burke, The SigArmorer or Gerry Ritacco of Total Automation are both certified sig armorer and have a proprietary part called the QTR which reduces both the DA/SA mode. Also, Grayguns seems popular also, but turnaround might be delayed. I'm not sure if your going to do the work yourself or have it sent out.
