They're all still Rostered w/DOJ however.

I believe the P2009 is the *older* 9mm which was the little brother of the older P2340 357Sig/40S&W guns.

The P2022 is the new front-railed gun that comes in all 3 calibers.

I am unsure if the P2022 9mm's are way different from 357/40 guns or whether or not they can be converted to 357/40. Could be a chance. There may be a chance BarSto can do something for 357/40 P2022 guns and convert them to 9mm however - they have a drop-in 9mm conversion bbl for newer P226 357/40s (even though this conversion doesn't run backwards: 9mm Sig 226s can't be converted to 357/40 without a new slide).

From what I've seen, that's the lowest for a new Sig I've seen in awhile. These are good guns and you won't be sorry.

I think 2-3 years ago I saw one for $379. In 1999 I paid that for a SigPro 2340 in 357Sig from Trader's in San Leandro.

But there could be a chance they are dumping the older P2009. Nothing wrong with that gun, however - just no rail.

Looks like an excellent deal. Online NIB prices starts around $500+. You guys (and gals) down south are lucky.

Yeah...It is the SP2009. I just called a couple different Turners. I had a guy read me the discription on the invoice just to make sure he wasn't just agreeing with what I was saying about that 9mm. I was interested in that pistol too. How old would this brand new pistol be then (like what should I expect the manufacturing date of this weapon to be)? Any opinions on this pistol considering I am an HK USP .45f shooter and have never owned a sig? I was considering a glock 17 or 19 for something in a smaller caliber from what I have now with also a smaller price tag. This sale seemed real good untill I found out it wasn't the SP2022.

I believe the primary 'feature' difference is the rail and the differences from the older 2340 357/40 pistol.

The newer 2022 has the rail and seems to have major commonality btwn 9mm, 357Sig and 40S&W platforms.

As far as differences in behavior/endurance/accuracy of any of these pistols, I wouldn't worry.

(In fact I'd rather have a non-railed one myself. I'm still trying to figure out why I sold my P2340 in 357 Sig.)

ya its's the 2009 model not the 2022. pretty much the same gun except the accesory rails are different, the trigger guard is a hair buit different, and it doesnt have night sights like the new 2022. They are new, just overstock SIG didnt want.

IMHO, the older 2009/2340 is the "better" version compared to the current 2022. They are functionally and mechanically the same but the 2009 and the 2340 are Swiss made while the 2022 is made in Germany (frame) and US (slide). Collector maybe?

For those people who like to stick flashlights, lasers, bayonets (lol) and granade launchers (lol), do not get the 2009/2340. Their rails are proprietary. If you insist, just search around and you'll find lots of stuff for the 2009/2340. With 2022, you can attach non proprietary accessories.

+1. I miss mine in .40s&w. I even think Bruce Gray can apply his reduced reset trigger mod to it. It was a good gun with a great trigger.

I have a like new Sig Sp2340 LE(357 Sig) Blue Line with night sights and three 12 rd mags. I have fired a total 39rds through it and has spent all of its life as a safe queen. It is a really fine weapon but it think its time to sell it so i can afford a new Springfield XD or Glock sub compact. I have been debating selling it for quite a while but i think the time has come as never shoot it.
