I thought 1911 trigger guards were all the same?
Heres a pic of my Colt O1991 which i consider to be "GI"

I believe this "GI style trigger guard" is just the standard round trigger guard.
Did a quick google and one of the only times it's been mentioned is in the description of a Surefire adapter mount: "The MR07 attaches to any standard rail-less 1911-type pistol with GI-type trigger guard"
