Are Glock 25/28 now available in the US? I want one for my wife.

Why on earth would you want a blow back 380 for your wife that is the same size as the full power 9mm?
The 380 will even recoil more then the 9mm.
Now if you want it as a collectors piece that is a totally different story.
There are very few in this country at this point and glock has no interest in starting production in the US. They are mostly sold in country's that can not have calibers used by the military.

They are not available in the United States. In order to import handguns into the US you must meet BATFE import regulations. Basically it's a point system based on features, caliber, etc.

The .380 does not score enough points due its caliber. The Glocks with the same frame in larger calibers (G19/G26) in 9mm make it in.

My wife is not from this country, scared of guns more or less...she has shot my 9mm and didn't care much for it so now I'm moving down a notch..I don't want to get her a .22 cal and definately not a .25 or.32cal

What size gun is your 9mm? It isn't the power of the cartridge that causes too much recoil/snap, its the ratio of power vs weight of the firearm. For example, I know several females who absolutely hate my Glock 26, because it snaps way too much for them. The same females love my Glock 17C, even though its practically the same gun, but just larger and heavier while firing the same cartridge (and compensated helps too).

My mistake was trying to teach her with my 9mm...I should of started her with a .22 and later the 9mm & 45's

The 380 will not be for defense but for target shooting in the hopes of getting to the 9mm/45acp for PP when I'm not home

ive always wondered why no company has made a kit- similar to guncrafter with the glock 20/21- for a glock 26 or 27. it seems like it would be something a company like lone wolf would be all over. for $250 id buy one.

the 238 is a great gun also. i currently have 2 and all told i think ive owned 5 and all have been great. colt is making the mustang again but at $700 or so i dont know if ill pick one up.
