    EFK FireDragon barrels?

    Hi,

Was wondering if anyone have any experience with these barrels/brand? I was thinking of getting the Sig Pro 2340 9MM Conversion for my .40S&W. Also can someone tell me what the differences are with a ported barrel and regular?

    Thanks!

I have a 9mm firedragon conversion barrel for my XD40.
It has worked fine for me. I bought it used. Had to do
Some filing to get it to fit my XD.

I have one for my HK USP .40. It tends to FTE and FTF.

Ported barrels have cuts in the top of the barrel to release (port) the combustion gases out the top of the barrel and reduce muzzle flip. They generally let you recover from recoil quicker and get off a faster second shot.
