I think it's just center fire automatics. I don't think revolvers are included.

I was under the impression that it would include rimfires as well?

Law does not seem to exclude .22

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

One aspect of the technology embosses primers with the firing pin, but maybe just a couple of impressions on the sides of a rimfire case would be sufficient for these morons. Besides lacking any provisions requiring lost or worn parts be replaced with compliant parts (among other deficiencies) I doubt the issue of rimfire autoloaders was even considered when this fatally flawed law was crafted. Repeat: This bill will most likely NOT be certified by the Office of Administrative Law.

The bill is signed (Governor) and chaptered (Secretary of State).

OAL's job is to make sure regulations are done properly (45-day comment period, responses to comments, ISOR, regulatory file with all proper documentation) and all references to statutes (where the statute allows the regulation) are referenced correctly among other things.

When the time comes for DOJ to actually write the regulations to implement AB1471 is when OAL gets involved.
