Out of the choices above I'd go with #5 or 6. The XD is a great gun. I shot a Ruger semi-auto and I wasn't to thrilled about it - it was an SR9. I suggest an XD or a lightly used Glock Gen 3 - which going market is about mid to low $400's

Thanks guys! Option 5 it is. As for the extra mags on option 5 Turners is running a special and in their add it says it comes with the extra stuff so hopefully they honer it. I truly appreciate everyone's input and fast responses.

That promotion was put on by Springfield and was valid only if purchased by end of November. That being said, $399 is still a great price without the extras.

Yeah I went into Turner's today and they said that they will not honer their add. So that sucks! Can you say false advertising. Any ways I went with option 5! On the 10 day wait.
As for the those who said go with a Glock, I have a Glock, 40 cal. Love it, just 40 cal is getting expensive.
Also for those who say get a 22, I do have a Ruger Mark III in 22LR and love it as well, just wanted something in a 9mm.
