Because it was released after the LCI and magazine disconnect became permanent features. In order to be legal to sell, the gun has to have these features. Since the HK45 doesn't have these features, it can't get on the roster. Single shot exempt it please.

Do you have a Dad, Mom, Grandpa, or Grandma that lives out of state?

If so, have one of them buy one and then transfer it to you as a gift.

Make sure you transfer into the state using FFL. This is to comply with Federal law.

Guns transferred from Dad, Mom, Grandpa, or Grandma are roster exemt.

OC Armory in Laguna Hills has a new one for sale.

            (SSE)

            Talk to Mike.

            Take care, Bob

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

+1 ^ - I've handled the one that Mike has in his display case, ALMOST bought it, he said he will always have either a HK45 or HK45c in stock for the Single Shot Exemption. I believe it's $1,237 out the door.

You can get the Hk45 via single shot exemption. While it might not say "Made in Germany" it will still be an Hk 45.
