    Chip McCormick or Wilson Combat?

I have both mags for my sig 1911. Both have functioned flawlessly. In your opinion, which is the best. Personally, im leaning towards Wilson because their product seems more stable and solid. But then again Chip has never failed me.... yet..

Chips hands down. Wilson mags are not as good as the interweb will have you believe.

After owning (and returning) several wilsons I have decided I will only get chip power mags from now on.

You also have Tripp Research...another great option.

        I agree 100%.

I like my 8 round Checkmate mags. Wilson's aren't as reliable in my 1911.

I have a few Wilsons and never had any issues with them but as far as shooting between them and my Chips I cant tell the difference. The only difference is how much the pocket book hurts with the Wilsons.

I will throw this out there the Colt mags blow. My factory ones that came with my XSE deformed after 1000 rounds between them. BALLS!!!!!!!!

Somebody did a very extensive review of followers(cannot find the link) and it was said that the Wilsons force the bullet to be "thrown" into the chamber and that it was not fully supported to the feed ramp. I have a few wilsons and I have not had any issues with them. I compete with Chips and they always worked for me. The Colt hybrid was the one he recommended I believe.

Chip mCcormick mags have been nothing but superb in my Kimber.

When they are on sale (or even in stock for that matter ) you can get two of these mags for the price of one wilson mag.

CM power 10 rd mags are my favorite. You will never regret a purchase of Chip McCormick magazines.

Tripp Research Cobra magazines are all I use. Top notch quality. Tapered baseplates look great in extended magwells. If you can't get Cobras, I vote Chip.

When I was competing I was testing with one of each but ended up getting the Chip McCormick ones. Liked them a little better and they were cheaper as I recall.
