    Reducing Glock Trigger Pull Question

Can someone tell me the exact parts I need to make my Glock 17 have a lighter Trigger (3.5 lbs)?

    I see this on amazon:

but I also see a Lonewolf brand:

Are these all that I need?
But then when I go to the Ghostinc.com website, they have a kit:
Glock Parts and Glock Acessories are the world's best by Ghost inc. Buy Glock parts and Glock accessories like Glock connectors, Glock triggers, Glock baseplate, Glock factory parts, Glock bullet slide releases, Glock springs and spring kits, Glock Spring Cups, and grip plugs for Glocks.

I see one that is similar, but cheaper on exilemachine.net:
Today, we are ecstatic to announce that Lunde Studio acquired Exile Machine. Exile Machine is another forerunner in the gun industry, boasting 10 years of substantial professional experience.

What am I supposed to get? And will all of these parts put together help reduce the trigger pull?

    3.5# connector doesn't yield a 3.5# trigger pull.
You also need to replace firing pin spring, trigger spring, firing pin safety pin etc

What you using it for? Whats wrong with the stock pull? And the 3.5 connector smooths stuff out but I've never found it to actually bring it to 3.5 pounds, it just makes it more pleasant. But if you look at Glocks website they only recommend the 5.5 connector for self defense use. Unless this is a race gun keep it stock.

I've heard the Rocket brand is good, alot of non OEM glock stuff is very reliable, it almost makes me want to try some. But with something like the trigger and connector, stay OEM.

I know you listed some other parts, but is this supposed to be for competition?

All you need to do is buy a "-" connector from Glock or use that LW one you linked.

Then do everything in the instructions linked below:

The results are amazing. Last time I was in the Glockstore I asked them for a 3.5# or "-" connector. The guy grabbed a LW one and said, $20 please. I asked for a Glock brand one and he grabbed one and said, $4 please.

I asked for 4 more and then left

Also if this is for a compact or subcompact, you may want to try a smooth trigger instead of the one with ridges that comes on those models. I swapped mine to a smooth one when I did my trigger job on one of my 19's and like it a lot.

While I'm post whoring, I may as well add a couple other things. I don't feel that my minus connector and trigger job make the gun unsafe to carry.

And problems can occur when you start changing springs, so I'd advise against it. At least give the minus connector and polishing job a shot and see how you like it. I think you'll be amazed at the difference.

I just wanted a lighter trigger pull cuz I watched some youtube videos and the guys said the trigger felt amazing after they added the Ghost Connector. So I figured that if I lightened the trigger pull, I would be more accurate.

Like 10 months ago, I couldn't even hit a big target at 15 yards. I thought I was kicking butt, but then during the cease fire I walked to check it out and felt ashamed cuz my shots weren't even on the paper. I haven't gone shooting since. Then on Tuesday I managed to get 8/10 on the target at 20 yards!!! Woo Hoo.

So I figured if I had a lighter trigger pull, I'd get 10/10 at 20 yards and possibly at 25 yards too!

Get a Glock 3.5lb disconnector and a Wolf reduced power striker spring.

There is another spring you can change and parts you can polish but then you're trying to get the 5-10% of the trigger feel and its not really worth it.

In my guns (4 of them) this yields from 3lb 13oz to 4lb 3oz. pull with a Lyman digital trigger pull gauge.
                where are my pistol mags?

Agreed...3.5# connector and a polish job makes for a very nice trigger, but it not overly light that I would consider it unsafe for SD/carry use. Just makes the pull smooth and crisp with a nice break to keep you on target.

Lightening your trigger is NOT a solution for bad shooting.

Get some instruction. Do not modify your gun until you have the basics down.

That's a good way to make a Glock unreliable. And what does the firing pin safety have to do with anything?

You should at least give a warning that this kit may not be suitable for SD/HD use.
