I don't see a modern duty gun on your list. M&P9 or 40 with the usual Apex parts: RAM, duty trigger kit, and striker block.

          You're in need of a Sig P226.

          Or maybe I am.

M&P40 with a Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel and a couple of 9mm mags.
                Now you have a .40 and a 9mm

I LOVE MY PX4 STORM .40, I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE RANGE AND IM CLEANING IT RIGHT NOW. ITS AMAZING HOW EASY IT IS TO CLEAN AND HOW LITTLE FILTH AND CARBON ACTUALLY STICKS. Its hard to shout for that long.

Get a Sig P226R. Extremely reliable, shoots very accurately and it fits your budget.

whittle down the candidates, and go shoot them at the range; then decide.

I really enjoy shooting my wifes Ruger SR9, for a $399 gun it is awesome.
