Pre Lock S&W Model 64

A firearm was recently given to my father by a family friend, and am just curious as to its value (no I would never sell it) and it looks like its going to be a great shooter.

The best I can tell you is that it is a 4" stainless, S&W model 64 without a lock. The gun overall seems to be in about 90-95 percent and seems relatively unfired. Ill hopefully get pictures up within the next few days.

I own several. Great guns. From what you descibed, I'd say $300 to $450.
If it has the original box, papers, grips, tools etc., the price would go up.

That about what I guessed, theres just something about older smiths... (2 38's now) that have a smoothness about them. And no stinking lock hahaha
