    THREAD FAIL!

    you left out hi-point

can your glock do this? I think not

10.5 grains of bullseye is not a double charge, it's almost a triple charge + a bolt driven down the barrel with a hammer

If it still works, I'll buy you a brand new Glock. If it doesn't, you buy me a brand new Kimber 1911. Lead Waster, this challenge was not dirrected at you. I'm just feeding off your post and pictures.
Yeah, that was my point as well. A rifle bullet will put a hole through a lot of stuff, be it a 1911 barrel/slide, a glock, a cast iron frying pan, an iPhone, etc. Unless the item being shot still worked after the shooting (cast iron frying pan?!) you can't claim anything.

The shot up 1911 proved that a piece of steel (the barrel and slide) can absorb the damage that would otherwise have ripped through your leg, but will be destroyed. That could ahve been the barrel/slide of almost any gun, or it could have been a zippo lighter or something. The point is that that picture (and the glock pictures) don't prove anything about the DESIGN of the gun at all.

Remember to dial 1 before 911.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

      There. Are. Four. Lights!

I was crossed between a revolver and a glock. Glock has time and tests on its side but the OP criteria is unbelievable.

I hate these mall ninja torture tests but if I had to pick one handgun that could take the most use and abuse overall it would be any Glock in 9mm.

Revolvers if they're dropped or hit with enough force on the cylinder the crane can and will bend and you have a non-functioning gun that only a gunsmith can fix. It is also a more open design meaning more crap can get in and caused problems. With todays reliable semi-autos the semi-auto with its more enclosed design makes for a better overall combat weapon.
