    Nc Star flashlight

So I just picked one of these up for my XD40 from amazon for the hell of it and it actually wasn't bad quality especially for the price. http://amzn.com/B001BZPJRC

Has anyone else heard of the maker or bought one of these? It got pretty good reviews on amazon. I just received it yesterday and it fit perfectly and it's bright as hell. Feels like its make very well.

Uh, did you notice that it was designed for "airsoft/paintball pistols or rifles"? NCStar has a reputation for being low end Chinese junk, so I wouldn't be surprised that it stops working after awhile.

Lol now that's funny! I don't know how I missed that. I know I read the description. Must have been one of those days. Good thing I didn't pay much for it. I guess I better start looking for a better one.

It could work thow. I have a friend that has that light on his glock19. Has shot a few 100 rounds with it on with no problems. Aim sport makes a light as well. Whole thing is made out of allumanum and is 150 lumes only cost 25$ with a lifetime warranty.

I was trying to save some money and thought I could cut corners and ordered a cheap light off amazon (awesome at first, it had strobe, and two separate light intensity) but after a few hundred rounds or so, it ended up turning on and off on me and randomly switching between modes, the reliability went out the door. Since then, I purchased the Insight m3 tactical light and upgraded the bulb to LED. I am much more happier with the build quality, definitely worth the investment when you pay just a tad more.Just my $0.02.
