How to Store Soft Body Armor?

away from sticks, not in direct sunlight, and the freezer is probably also a bad idea, thats just a guess though. id also avoid under water storage of body armor.

Also dont let it get shot, that causes extreme wear and tear.

I keep one in my car trunk, another in my wardrobe.
Most of them you can put on a clothes hanger and store in a closet or your clothing rack. If you are worried about or get annoyed by dust buildup, put one of those plastic covers for dry-cleaned business suits on it then hang it up.

You should keep it baked in the oven set at 100 degrees at all time. That way it's nice and warm when you're ready to wear it.

Lay it flat, or hang it (I use dry cleaning bags for dust protection). As long as there are no folds, it'll be good.

You want to store it either hanging or lying flat in an dry area, away from extreme temp swings, and out of direct sunlight.

There is a product called "Vest Locker"..
It's a big pelican-type flat storage locker..
Your vest will be stored in a flat manner, out of sunlight..
Galls and some uniform stores carry these..

Don't hang it on a hanger, gotta lay it flat. The weight of the Kevlar will fold over on the bottom edges and it's impossible to flatten out the curls after that happens

Keep it dry and throw it away after 5 years if you wear it often.
