I'll probably order another 4 to make it an even 10. I don't like reloading magazines =/ BUT it is awesome firing 6 magazines instead of 3Originally posted by d4v0sMy girlfriend and i used froglube last night in a pinch and it works great.Comment

gettin an FNP-40 as my next pistol. Wanted to try to buy something other than a glock since i have a bunch of em, and just recently took an affinity to Winchester/FN/Browning productsBe the change that you wish to see in the world.Mahatma Gandhi

Had mine for a few months and have taken it to the range a couple times. Very pleased with the way it shoots and feels in my hand. So glad it was my first handgun purchase. I too got the two-tone.Guns owned:

I have the FNP-40 and I love it! Some say they aren't fond of the trigger but I think its great personally. However, there are 2 issues with it that I don't like:
1. The mag release is very picky. You have to press it squarely and firmly in order to drop the mag. If you don't get a solid press, the mag won't drop. This can be an issue if you have small hands like I do.
2. Unless the slide is locked back, when inserting a magazine it is VERY hard to seat! I have to slam that thing home with a lot of force or else it won't fully click in, and the mag will just drop on the floor. I've never experienced this issue with any other gun I've shot/owned.
These 2 issues aside, it's a damn fine weapon. Solid, lightweight, accurate, reliable, and comfortable."The power under the Constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can and undoubtedly will be recalled."

I hear it's a great gun and I actually bought one because all the great things I heard about it but traded it for an AK47 -- I have too many pistols to justify owning another one.
At around $400, it's a good deal.Comment
