Question about XD40

So I started my ten days today on a 4" xd40 that I bought and I was wondering if anyone had an opinion about a good grip for it. I was thinking about a Hogue since I have one on my AR and love it, but not sold on the look as it seems a little bulky or should I go with Talon grip tape or something else.

on the xd 40 i had i just threw a hogue slip on grip works fine ,never tried the talons on the xd wife has the xd9 likes it without any extra grip. dont know if this helps but hope so

I had the grip tape on my XD 40, and I didn't like it. I wound up taking it off after 2 times at the range. I did get the Pachmayr grips for my XD 9 and feels much better. I never got the Pachmayr grips for the xd40 as I wound up selling it.

I don't use any grips and have never had a problem.

talon grips are the best in my opinion. very durable and don't make the grip extra large.

I use rubber Decal grips, really like them.
