If the grips they shipped it with don't fit you can get the large ones online, they snap in place.

Get some .40 cal mags from CDNN and load them up with 9mm. You can't beat the price- $14.99. http://www.cdnninvestments.com/pro3510blune.html .

I wouldn't use these mags for home defense but they're great for classes and competition. I've only had problems when using 147 gr but 115 gr works fine.

Congrats. Great gun once you get used to the really short reset. I hate to say it but I'm probably more accurate on the Sig than on my CZ.

      Thanks guys!

Message heard loud and clear....shoot the gun first and get mucho acquainted with it. Makes perfect sense. I'm just one of those people that like to tinker and design. I won't change anything for a while except maybe sights and grips.

I went to iron-sights last night and rented a 2022 just to get my fix. It shot very well for me and I loved the gun with one exception.

Trigger - The SA trigger pull is way too long and places the trigger too far back before actually firing. This is not going to be one of those "get used to it" issues for me. Are there any replacement triggers/sears that reduce the SA travel?

Sights - Are there any alternatives to the regular 3-dot approach? This is also not a "get used to it" for me. The only thing I could find is something like this: http://www.suresight.com/ Don't poo poo all over it if you've never tried it. Any other alternatives?

Thanks for the link, that's the best price I've seen.

The trigger pull is pretty long and may be strange to get used to if you have large hands. Try a larger grip. Also, the SP2022's come with Sig's short reset trigger. Their normal trigger may feel better for you.

My Sig came with two-dot sights which I like much better than 3-dot sights.

I'm not sure about replacement parts for the trigger. I don't recall there being a huge aftermarket for the SP2022. My suggestion would be to just get used to it.

As for sights, there are all kinds of sights. What don't you like about the 3-dot system? The people I know who don't like 3-dots end up liking the 2-dot system such as this:

Not a whole lot out there for the 2022 yet.

As for suresight, IIRC a while back they had huge issues getting product out to customers, to the point were they had a lot of online/BBB complaints. I could be wrong, but it was a company that had that triangle style sight, and im pretty sure it was them

Also, check out XS sights, lots of people using them and loving them. They are geared towards upclose fast sight acquisition though.

This is the rear sight that came with my SigPro.

You can go to a 3-dot, the XS, or some other sight system. There's no rule that says you have to run a certain sight. You should see what works for you and then run that sight.

Theres more than one sight. I personally love there contrast sights (dot the I) but in any case the three dot is great. Its that or XS dot that I recommend, there very decent and just like the Sigs more or less.

No mods are necessary; go shoot the heck out of it to the point where you can say "I've got my money's worth"
