    .460 rowland

Any one here have expireance with this round? I'm bored and thinking of picking up the conversion kit. I am a little concerned that my cast framed Rock will end up being an expensive brick if I try to convert it though. Is the RIA frame though enough? *my google fu just kicked in and I'm now disapointed* Rocks are not recommended for the .460.

Have there been experiences with the RIA frames being damaged from a .460 conversion? or is it just speculation?

I just picked up a stainless Springer off GB specifically for this conversion. I want to buld a .460 gun for pig hunting. I can't imagine going through a lot of this ammo due to the price and reports of it's high recoil. Depending on how much you plan to shoot your .460 converted Rock, you might be fine. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your veiwpoint), the only way to find out is to try!
