Moving to CA: Help me complete my 9mm List!

First post... but not my last! I'm primarily a rifle aficionado, without much handgun experience.

I'll be moving from GA to SoCal in January, and I seeking some recommendations for desirable 'Off-List' 9MM semi-auto's for purchase prior to my move. Currently, I have a small collection of S&W .38/.357 revolvers, but no semi-autos. I want to standardize on the 9MM platform.

This is my (off-list) List so far. Anything else that you strongly recommend I pick up before my move?

    TIA

    1) Glock 17 Gen4
    2) CZ SP-01 Tactical
    3) STI Spartan
    4)
    5)
    6)
    7)
    8)
    9) A couple STI 2011 frames for future projects.

Good News: What pistols you bring are pretty much up to you.
See the Calguns Wiki for certain restrictions.

Bad News: You have to pay the California Department of Justice $19 per handgun that you bring. This can get expensive.

Even though the glock 19 gen 4 is off list, it is easily attainable here with the single shot exemption. Unless its high on your list I would move the STI spartan up since those are hard to find here.

HK p7m8 is not off list. The other P7s are.

Good News about the '$19 Bad News': Off-Roster handguns in California should easily be able to cover their $19 "welcoming fee", as re-sale value on these off-roster guns is fairly higher than CA DOJ approved handguns

I would say Walther PPQ and any STI 9mm pistols.

Any commander-sized 1911 chambered for the 9MM would be my recommendationfor your collection....and my condolences for you having to move to this wonderfully occupied state of Mexi-fornia.

                        You need to buy this:

Then when you get here you can decide you don't really like it and want to get rid of it.. then I can swoop in and save you from your mistake..

If I lived in Georgia, I'd have a Colt Commander or a Combat Commander

They are in high demand here
