If all else is equal, then you sound like you want the Colt!

Well the kimber is the one that I "want" but no ambi safety and undercut. Also some MIM part which im not sure if the others have or not.

Read this about the Kimber. I own a Kimber TLE II, but after reading this, if I would to do it over again I would have gone springfield. However, after 2K rounds my Kimber has had 0 problems.

I vote for the Springfield since it is on the roster (easier to get and less $ since you won't have to pay for the SSE) and because of the lifetime warranty.

Of those three, anything but the Kimber.

The Colt Rail Gun is not. I know because I want one. What are you going to use the gun for, duty or...?

I hate the roster, i thought it was on there because the part# 01980XSE is on the roster.

But the Rail Gun part# is 01980RG not XSE.

WTH though the RG is an XSE with a rail.

It is just the xse with a rail and a national match barrel but it has a different model number that isn't on the list. I want one bad but I don't want to spend $1400 for one

SSE one if you want one. Also, I've shot the Kimber TLE Rail. My exposure to it was limited but it ran well for the 300 rounds I shot through it. I've never run one particularly hard though, so I can't give you an honest evaluation. I can tell you that it handled well and was extremely accurate. I would choose a Springfield TRP over the TLE if it were me, but that's me and not you. The Schwartz safety does not inspire confidence in me. Too many SMEs saying that if it malfunctions it will freeze the gun and there is never a good time for that to happen.

I have the Colt Rail Gun in stainless and if I had it to do over (and if they were the same price) I would have bought a TRP Operator. Better gun outta the box. After lots of time with Will O'Hara my Rail Gun is acceptable- but not as reliable as either of my Springers.

It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!
