We have a few spots here in Norcal where we can go and shoot for free. Private property. A bit of a drive tho. Even LEO goes there.

1. if it's private property, make sure you have permission from the land owner
2. if it's public property, be safe...some public land you can shoot on, and some you can't, so do your homework

Not in most places around LA.

There are spots in parks where it's allowed. In Santa Barbara, there's an area in the National Forest where we go to shoot.

I do it all the time. But I live in No ea Califoornia. Nothing but federal lands. For you deer hunters it is called the X zones.
