Just transport your guns and ammo separate in your car, according to the law and you'll have no problems. A hotel, motel or even a campsite is a legal temporary residence and you can maintain loaded firearms there for your personal protection. Just don't wave them around outside in the parking lot. Keep your guns in a locked container when outside."We're surrounded. That simplifies our problem. We can now fire in any direction and strike the enemy." ....Colonel Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller, Commanding the 1st Marine Regiment at The Battle of The Chosin Reservoir, Korea 1950
