    OD Glocks?

Ok I get that they're no longer in production so if you wanted one you'll have to buy used, but I'm having a hard time seeing how it justifies people selling their used ODs for 100-150 more than a brand new black one. Everyone can go and say "supply and demand" and since they're no longer made, it's a collector's item but it seems to me Glock is no longer producing them because there isn't a high enough demand.

I mean I understand if you go to a store and get a stainless vs. blue finish it will cost more in the same brand new condition but i just don't don't see it. I've shot Glocks and heard about them but have never owned one personally and honestly if i were to, OD would not be my thing anyways so this whole situation doesn't affect me personally, so I guess this is to all you Glock owners out there:

How much would you value an OD Glock now that you know they are no longer produced and why (especially if you have a reason other than what I have said)?

Not trying to offend anyone, just want to see what the deal is.

a seller can pretty much price his pistol as low or high as he wants. value is in the eye of the beholder. if a potential buyer can't afford his price, they should just move along.

I get that, I guess I am stating an observation more than asking the question. I see some prices that seem off on a regular basis but this recent trend for glocks has me scratching my head more than anything and thinking...really??

I have an OD Glock 30. I'll sell it to you for the low, low price of $1000 considering it's now a collectible. Seriously though, you are right. I wouldn't really know what to price mine at if I was actually considering to sell it seeing as how people mark them up too much then they have like 5000 views, say they are firm on the price, and btt for a few months. Then they blame the consumer for not feeling that the price hike is justified. Although, my OD Glock happens to be my favorite and would like a few more for the right price.

Oh man, I think I might have to sell some of my metal-framed guns for one of those babies

And it would have to be a safe queen, since I'd be spending what I would for ammo just to get the collectible OD variant

On a side note, I am pretty curious about Glocks still, any of those happen to be a 29?

I love OD Glocks and always have. I own 12 of them.

And a couple of Glock 29s (my favorite handgun)

Sad thing is I was able to get a LNIB OD 23 for $365 OTD around a year ago. I passed it up because Glocks weren't my cup of tea at the time, now I love them

Very true......For me as a Glock owner since 1987 (my first G17) it was the boring Black color. When I saw my first OD Glock in person, I really liked the two-tone look and I had to buy it..

This is my first OD Glock..a Glock 30 I bought from Ammo Brothers, Ontario 18 months ago. I added a 3.5 connector, extended slide release, a lonewolf extended barrel, 13 round Glock 21 magazine with sleeve. Really a nice weapon in .45 Auto.

My first OD is my 35:

And all my ODs are in .40 to distinguish from the others. Still need a G22 in OD to complete the set.

Wow, 12 OD Glocks in 18 months, that's impressive. I haven't even seen one in my local stores in the past 18 months.
