    My STI Edge Project...

I got this STI Edge 40sw of a trade for a my HK P30LS V1 chambered in 9mm.

This is how I got here:

I had Jimmy Vidanes install an Ed Brown grip safety, Dawson Precision front sight, Doug Koenig Low Mass Hammer, SV Infinity Thumb safety, STI gun smith flat trigger blank, Stipple the grip, under cut trigger guard and do a trigger job (trigger pull is crispy 1.5lbs). While I installed a Dawson Magwell, Dawson Posi lock extended mag release, Ed Brown mag button,Dawson tooless guide rod and wolf springs:

and this is how she was for a few months while I messed with recoil springs:

After shifting thru the Brian Enos forums gallery section I finally realized what and how I wanted this Edge to look...

So I had Dave's Metal Works do the finishing work on her... Dave did the flat top with 40lpi serations, hard chromed, and did my lightening cuts on her...

And this is how she sits today:

The Flat top w/ 40lpi serations and lightening cuts:

Only thing missing is the SV Infinity flat trigger, waiting for Jimmy to install it...

Jimmy Vidanes does some great lightening work, trigger jobs and fitment.. While Dave fast turn around( I drop it off on saturday 19th and it was ready for pick up on the 23rd) and work is quality is second to none...

These are the guys that I'll be using to modify my STI Perfect 10 to a custom 6" Limited gun... And make me an open top end for my Edge...

          Nice gun man.

It's so out of reach for me. Like talking about how to maintain a Ferrari.

Interesting info, but I can't get the money to buy one.

A dream of ownership, but not a reality.

Theres really nothing I want to add, other than the SV Infinity trigger and maybe a Schuemann barrel ( non AET... because I'm planning on shooting lead).

She shoots better than what skills can muster in USPSA. But if we're talking target shooting and using my load (180gr Montana Gold JHP) ... We're talking 20yrds 1/2" inch group; off hand ( no rest )...

Only advise is make sure you have the design down pat before hard chroming so you dont pay double..

thanx brotha ... its not like a ferrari, not as tempermental but if you just clean it after every range day or 2 and use good oil ... She runs like a typewriter...

I really like some of the stuff you did to it. I like the lightening cuts especially.

                        Beautiful!

I love my Brazo's Edge. 2011 guns are awesome. My Glock 34 gets neglected quite often these days.

Hehe, looks like we did similar uprades. I also changed my grip safety, thumb safety, and magwell.

I think now that I know what I like and don't like, I will build something from the frame up next time.

You shoot at Norco? Wait you just asked about bear creek 180 and 200 grainers on the Enos forums. Were you talking to Carlos A. and I about bear creek bullets on Saturday? If so, 'sup dude!
