The xd fits my hand as well. I ended up selling mine but it was always reliable.

I use to be a fan of lights and lasers until i actually bought one and realized i wanted money. A lot of people love them but they are just not for ME.

I should have used the money for a trigger job or something else instead.

nice buy. I love my XD9. I love my glock but presonally I think the XD9 is a better shooter and feels better to me in the hand. The slide release, the mag release, loading the mags, and the breakdown is just slightly better than my glock. Don't get me wrong the glock is easy but the xd is just that much better to me. Plus I like the indication when a round is chambered. I love glocks but I love the XD just slightly more and so far it seems just as reliable.

I bought a couple 100 rounds of 9mm LAX reloads at the last Del Mar gun show. My XD9 ate up the ammo without a single problem. I had a bunch of dirty ammo that must have been on my grandpas shelf since 1960 and the XD9 ripped through it. Needless to say I love XDs. You got a great gun in my opinion.

I think so. I always thought my first handgun would be a Glock, but once I held it, that opinion changed real quick. They just didn't fit well in my hand, let alone my wife's. I love the fit of the XD9 and once I shot it I fell in love with it, lol. We'll see how it goes. Can't wait to get it, exactly a week from today to the minute.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but you can submit for the extra gear as soon as you have a receipt and a serial number... I sent mine in online right when I got home from paying for my XD9 (OD Green 4").

Congrats on the purchase, it's a great gun!
