My first hand gun!

Just payed for my first hand gun! I Springfield Armory Mil-Spec 45acp 1911!
I am so stoked! I have wanted this hand gun for sooo long! I need to bring in my piece of DMV paper work and she is mine. I can not wait to shoot my first group with her.

I want to take a class at Bullseye Shooting Range soon as well.

I'll post up some range results as soon as I take the gun out for the first time.
I need to find a way to get a DMV letter with my new address (just moved from SF to San Rafael). I went on line today and submitted a change of address which should go through in 3 business days. I printed the on line receipt but I am not sure if they will let me take the gun home with that. I wonder if they will send me a confermation letter within 30 days?
I like the fact that this modle has a throughted barle and the modified ejection port unlike the GI modle.
