Just wondering if anyone uses the extended 2 port. What's up with reliability and does it get really dirty like the C models? I'm talking about the longer barrel with ports outside the slide though. I want to use it on my 19 for the range but if it gets my site and slide as dirty as my C model I might pass

THIS..^^^^
Especially in the weak calibers like 9MM. Shooting an extended ported barrel along side a normal barrel isn't any difference in felt recoil or muzzle climb.
What it does do is look SNARKY.
I was shopping for a lonewolf 10MM barrel (normal length) for one of my GLOCK 29s. I just wanted a normal stainless barrel to shoot my lead reloads in. Lonewolf was OUT OF STOCK..but they did have an extended ported barrel available.....I decided to just get that barrel and Cut the end off to make it a normal length barrel again.
After it arrived and I did my normal polishing job on it, I installed it and took it too the range to shoot along side my other unported barrel on my 2nd GLOCK 29. No difference at all. But the extended model did look SNARKY.
haha
I still haven't taken the time to cut the barrel back.
Be well, Bob

I never had a ported barrel but I have a LW 10mm-40sw conversion and it is dead reliable, never a single malfunction. It is also VERY accurate with 40 sw 180 grain lead conical loads which are about as cheap as you can find. I literaly put 50 rounds in one hole the size of a 50 cent piece at 15 yards, and I am not a very experienced pistolero.People who hug trees shouldn't live in wooden houses!Comment
