Which Polymer handgun has the best stock trigger?

Let's see it's probably a battle between the Springfield XD, S&W M&P, Glock, Ruger SR9/40.

I'm really interested in becoming a really accurate shooter but stay away from 1911's because of the caliber.

Any suggestions other than those I listed?

Out of the box or once they are worked? If its fully worked over, an XD trigger can be very, very nice, since its a single action for the most part compared to the others.

Do you mean broken in with alotta rounds or dry firing? When you say "worked over". Also for anyone that has that Glock 3.5 connector thing. Does that make a lot of difference?

Worked over as in have a new trigger kit / smithing done on it.

Ive handled / shot a few that have robar , PRP, and Springer do the trigger on them. Very little pretravel, very crisp, quick reset.

Stock, I hate glocks, but they have a better trigger out of the box then an XD.

Is the answer really just get a 1911? Cause i'm considering that too. With a 10 round "extended" looking mag it sounds kinda sweet.

The FN FNP has a great trigger as well, and its a polymer gun also.

                        1911 in 9mm.

Glock trigger is much better than the XD trigger.

No. A gun's stock trigger function should be the last thing to make or break the deal. There's a reason trigger work is probably the most common handgun modification no matter the make or model.

i may be the odd man out, but i really like the glock triggers. the stacking/tightening in the trigger gives me a mental reference of where i am in the trigger pull
