Do you need the Ambi safety cut on after market grips? I noticed the RIA ambi safety doesn't have the "foot" which makes me believe that you can use any type of grip panels.

I installed hogue wrap around grips on mine. The only issue I had was stretching the grip around. Normal grips would be simple. I didn' have to cut or modify anything.==================
