Glock Truglo Sight Height

hey everyone, i bought a set of fiber optic sights . i just replaced my glock ones when i realized that these new ones are higher up. the original set was off my glock 34 and these seem to be a noticeable amount taller to where i notice when looking down the sights. did i get the wrong one ie. the one for 10mm/45? or are truglos just taller than stock sights? any help would be appreciated.

and yes the ones i bought were advertised as ones for 9mm, i bought them used with no packaging so no way to tell

if anyone has sight height measurements that are actual, metric or sae for either front or rear would be great. and if anyone knows where the sights differ for truglo between the calibers would be great. thanks

Thats a good question. I was thinking of putting my original style bracket back on and keeping my trijicon front sight on there, but wasn't sure if it'd be the right height. Wish Glock had this info up on there site for the front and rear sights.

the problem is i measured the truglo one and i couldnt find a single so called 6.5mm height measurement on there with a micrometer.

Haven't received my Truglo TFO's yet but my G22 factory rear sight measures 6.5mm from the botton of the dovetail to the top of the sight. I can't really measure the front the same way while it is installed, but it seems like it would be close.

thanks for the info, ill try and measure that. i coudlve sworn its smaller than 6.5 though

My Truglo TFO's arrived in the mail today.
They are in fact taller than the stock G22 sights.

Just sent my 27 slide off to have TruGlo TFO's put on. I'll post a picture when I get it back

tthanks hardware junkie! that picture actually looks exacgly like mine when i usedbthe new steel site to punch the old one off. the difference looks to be about the same. thanks!
