XS Sight big dot or standard?

One of my glocks has the evil plastic factory sights on it. I'm going to pick up a set of XS sights, can't decide if I should go for the larger front dot or the standard size. Any feedback from XS users?
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

For self-defense or plinking, BigDot is fine - especially at short distances. For more precise target shooting, that tends to block too much of the target.

Exactly what Librarian said. I prefer the standard sight as the big dot blocks out my poi at distances more than 10 yards.

i have the big dot and love it. xs sights are not made for precision shooting but they do well for what they were designed for.

I keep hearing there some of the best defense sights out there and they sure look like that. But beyond 15 yards oh so I have heard mixed things like not being able to see POI and just that there to large to do any target work (obviously there defense sights). I'd love if sig did there design in night sights, which is dotting the I, just like this sight, but smaller and IMO a little more versatile. But OP, I'd go standard dot, I've heard alot of people say its more worth it in the end.

I thought a bout giving them a go, they look neat. I just thought it'd be easier with the "I" portion for some accuracy then a dot in place of it. In any case, definitely going to try those or the Trijicon HD sights next on whatever I get.

Regarding these type of sights...that they that much quicker on target acquisition and better to use than the traditional 3 dot system?

I have only experience with the 3 dot sights.

Well I used the Sig style dot the I sights and they were very quick, awkward at first only since I was so used to 3 dot or the glock bracket, I just wish they did them in night sights.

Neomedic- They tend to be quicker since your focusing more on the front sight. As far as are they 100 percent better than 3 dot? I dont think so, but I admit they are slightly faster, not as accurate farther out but its a handgun either way, I dont do alot of 25 yard shooting.

Depends on You, Good eyes--Standard, Poor eyes--Big Dot makes them much easier to find in daylight...

I'll probably go with the standard as i often shoot at 25 to 35 yards just punching paper. Thanks to all who responded. These sights seem pretty cool and I'll post a review when I finally try them out.

i like the big dots a little faster on your target.
