    Warren Tactical

I was wondering if any of you guys use Warren Tactical pistol sights

Here is the set I am looking at putting on a Glock 23
Lone Wolf Arms is the largest manufacturer of aftermarket parts for Glocks. We also have M&P Shield, Beretta/Taurus, and Browning Hi-Power parts.

I tried to do some research on their website
    their website is total crap
I did some research on Glocktalk and found pretty positive results

The gun is going to currently be used for
    home use and range use
hopefully with some legislative reform it would be used for CCW

    Finally my last point
(near the bottom, first bullet point under General info)
"U.S. MADE, LIFETIME WARRANTY ON ALL METAL PARTS, TRIJICON LAMPS AND HEAT TREATED."
I tried looking for a phone number on their website to ask them about this but was not able to find anything
Do you really think it is a lifetime warranty on the bulbs even though those have a given lifespan?

That POS website desperately needs reform

    Thank you for your help

Dawson Precision seems to be the unofficial website for Warren Tactical Sights. I have bought several sight sets from DP, including a set of Warrens. Give DP a call, they are very knowledgeable & have some of the best customer service out there.

Another sight set you might want to look at, is the Ameriglo i-Dot. They're a lot like the Warren Sevigney set, made in the USA, excellent warranty/customer service & cheaper.

Lifetime warranty on the metal parts, as part of a list of features. The lamps aren't metal, so no, not covered by lifetime warranty, just another feature on the list, like 'USA Made'.

Warren Tactical is top notch. However, the tritium lamps would not be covered under the warranty.

I have the same 2-dot setup on my carry gun, but in the WT sights (not Sevigny). I also have the WT Fiber/Plain set on my IDPA gun. I will likely never change to anything else. I like them that much.

Great sights, I Run a plain black rear with a tritium front on my Glock 19. Awesome sight picture, Fast acquisition and easy to install.

Today was a good day well for the most part

The owner of this site who is a Calgunner messaged me
He said that he carries Warren Tactical sights and is located in Murrieta

Ok perfect so I suggested that we go launch some lead this morning

We met up at Prado shooting range in Chino Hills and shot some trap
all was going well till the slide on my Browning shotgun broke

He was nice enough to suggest that we trade off using his shotgun
We finished off the round trading birds

We called it quiets a little early being down a shotgun and it was starting to get busy

First he shows me his Glock 26 with the same sights that I am going to put on my 23
After looking down those sights I was sold

Next it was onto the sight install on my Glock 23
The front sight was stubborn but we got it off and got it replaced without too much trouble
The rear sight is where the hang up was
The set screw was SUPER tight
we forgot hex keys, so I asked one of the guys if he had any in the pistol area
He proceeded to literally twist the hex key like a pretzel
                the screw didnt budge

So I walked back over to the truck and we discussed our options

He walked me through the steps of installation
He was EXTREMELY nice and let me borrow his sight pusher so I could get them installed

When I got home out came this niffty little friend

a couple light taps and it broke free
time to install the new rear sight

He suggested giving things a light file to make installation easier and a light coat of oil and then go for it

Well I went for it but was cranking on it pretty good but it wasnt going anywhere

So I headed down to On Target in South county
I walked in and explained what I had going on

One of the employees says no problem
He begins to REALLY crank on the sight pusher and gets them installed
I ask him how much do I owe and he responds nothing
So I proceed to buy a set .40SW snap caps

Here is the set that I ended up going with

I am very pleased with the sights
I cannot wait to get to the range and launch lead

In two weeks I will need to make another pilgrimage back to Prado with the Glock 23 and to return the pusher

                Thank you
