Need help finding a Series 70 Colt Government

If anybody in Northern California or anywhere else in the country that has a Series 70 in their shop can let me know I'd appreciate it.

Called tons of local stores and nobody has one and would like to avoid auction sites.

Looking to replace my Kimber on duty which has had the plunger tube fall off and had trigger reset issues among other problems.

Basically looking for a basic new Colt with no firing pin block.

What is your budget for one in good condition?

      Thanks

        ...

Having the owner call before I head over so I can just wait and do an exchange.

I assumed I would be waiting for several months however.

So in the meantime I'm buying a Python and maybe a 325 Thunder Ranch I just tripped over.

By the way the shop owner there is friendly and offered to take the gun back for a full refund even though he did not have to. Nice shop.

Budget is anything from new price to less for a basic 70 series or similar like the repros and anniversay model.

Valkyrie Arms gets the repros in on a semi-regular basis. You could ask them.
