Kimber TLE II disassembly questions

anyone know a good sight for instructions on a complete takedown and clean of a kimber tle series II 1911...the whole thing

youtube...it's basically a standard 1911 with an extra safety, look for a colt series 80 disassembly vid, they're close to the same

Actually, they are nothing like a Series 80. A Swartz and a Series 80 operate differently and use different parts. You don't take the plunger out of the slide in a Kimber since they are held in place by the rear sight rather than the extractor, like a Series 80.

That was only referred to give him guidance on disassembly, I know the Swartz and S80 are quite different
