    Wally world 9mm ammo

Been purchasing my range/plinking ammo at Walmart. Just curious how does the Federal 9mm (Federal Champion 9mm Full Metal Jacket Rounds, 115 g) rate compared to the WWB 9mm (FMJ, 115 g) & Remington UMC 9mm (115 g)?

    Appreciate your input!

19.98 for the box of 100 is a great deal. Everytime they do carry it I try to buy as much as I can. So far I have had no problems with this ammo.

So you're the guy buying up all the 100 packs!!!!

i've used the Champion round in many firearms over the last few years and haven't had a problem with them yet.i did have a hiccup or two with the WWB ammo in a hipoint that leat everything else though.

No problems with either. Some say the WWB is dirtier, but I have not noticed that.

I haven't had any problems with them. They are accurate enough for closer range practice, cheap and plentiful. I use them a lot.

+1 on this. They also have a 100 .40 cal pack.

I actually prefer the Federal. Have used it in Sig, S&W. Beretta with no problems and it seems to be loaded fairly consistently.

I get the cheapest I can find

Usually the Federal. I've never seen the $19.98 for 100 box.

                    Never any problems

Depends on the gun (sometimes), but in my Glock I have no problems with any of those 9mm brands.

There have been issues with setbacks on the UMC ammo (bullet is pushed into the casing too far), but my mega pack didn't have any.... but I also haven't bought any since then.

Federal and WWB both work fine and cycle fine in my Glock. However, I used Federal more just because it was cheaper, especially when buying 500-1000 rounds at one time.

I personally like shooting PMC 9mm (and .45) ammo now since it runs a bit cleaner in my guns. I used to run Federal ammo, but it's a lot more dirty than the PMC ammo (and price is about the same if you buy online). I notice the build up on my guns more with Federal ammo. But shooting wise, they all work fine.

Do they still carry the $20/100 value pack?

I tried looking at 5 different Walmart around Sacramento in the past month or so and can't find any in stock..
