    I'm new to the Glock world

    So, the other week, I was at my local Turner's just browsing and as I am walking past the gun counter, my eye catches something in the consignment section. I had to do a double take. It was a Glock 21sf priced at $475. I had to take a look. Upon closer inspection, it looks like the thing was never fired. No visible signs of wear in the expected places and everything seemed to function as intended.

    Hmmm....G21sf...1913 rail...ambi mag release...night sights...$474!?!?!
    I JUMP IN IT...
    <end voice>

    It comes with a small caveat...I have to wait until the 19th to start DROS. Something about having to wait 30 days to clear the gun(make sure not stolen, etc.) because it's consignment. But it's paid in full...and mine.

    So...since I'm new to the Glock world, I would appreciate any tips, web resources, parts/customizing sources and so on. I am thinking an extended slide release would be a good upgrade for me. Is this a good place to get that part?

    I already confirmed with them that it will fit the G21sf with ambi mag release.

    thanks

    Great find! You will also find a lot of G21SF ambi owners "HATE" or seriously dislike the ambi mag release. Glock did have some issues with the ambi release (ok a LOT of issues so they dropped the ambi line). However, you may also find people like myself who have not had any problems at all.

    Go put a deposit down so no one else gets it.

    I find there is not much more than ammo and extra mags that you need for the 21SF ambi. Learn to do mag changes with your middle finger instead of your thumb. It can be done and many of us find the ambi easier to mag change on ambi over the standard mag release.

    Night sights are a must, I like the texture decal grip myself.

          Good find..!....The Glock 21SF is a fantastic weapon.

          Hold off buying anything except ammo until you have a few range sessions with her.

          This gun is a keeper.

                Actually, I'm already on the plastic side...USP45.

                The only thing left to round out my .45 trifecta will be some sort of 1911...and so the research begins...
