I found these tests on brassfetcher.com. Pretty interesting stuff. They use 1/4" thick bone simulant and most JHP's fail to expand after going through it. Even some of the premium brands like Gold Dot and Ranger T. Interesting to note though that while there were failures to expand there were no problems with penetrating the bone...
