    XD9 night sight install

I just got some Trijicon XD9 night sights for my XD9...now I need to find a local place to install them. I heard they're tricky on the XD and some shops won't even touch them.

Any recommendations for Riverside Co. / South OC area? (I live in Elsinore and work in Newport Beach so either areas are fine)...

I sent mine out to a company that is allover the xd forums...it was quick promt service and extremely professional. Heres the link http://www.xd-hs2000.com/xd-hs2000/G..._Services.html

basically they tell you every step you need to take to get them done. I highly reccommend it.

Wow that place looks amazing. $20 and I only have to send the slide. Can't really beat that. Seems like a reputable place. Thanks!!

This place said just to send the slide in. Do they test fire afterwards to ensure accuracy? If so, would using a different frame and internals effect accuracy?

On a different question, the TruGlo TFO, does the tritium light up all three dots? Another words, does the front and rear sights have some form of tritium in them? Anyone have a pic of them at night with no lights? Thanks.

Frame/internals dont really effect mechanical accuracy. The barrel is locked by the recoil spring and its fit to the slide.

Xdhs2000 does great work. They put trujicons on my glock 17 and xd 9. Super quick turnaround time.

when i got my slide back it was covered in oil in brown paper packaging to prevent rust...once i wiped it all away it looked like the slide was made with the sights already on it from Springfield.

For neomedic... My glock 17 was brand new, and my xd9 was almost new. No scratches on either one. Both looked factory installed when i got them back, and shoot better now then when i had the cheap factory sights on them.

thanks for the input. gotta get some night sights from these guys. This turner's deal is starting to thin the wallet a bit. Got the PRP trigger, now sights

But with 5 total mags (with the promotion), it should be a good gun to run at pistol classes after the sights and trigger replacement.
