.41 Magnum fans- where are you?

Where are all the .41 mag fans out there? I know you are out there.... Come on guys, come out and show yourselves.

My favorite wheel-gun caliber. More punch than a .357, but not as obnoxious as a .44.

Huge fan of .41mag. I have a 657, 629 and 686 in a collection. Someday I'll get an unfluted cylinder for the 686 and have a nice matching set.

Being able to load anything from 38sp +p to modest .44mag power levels in 1 cartridge is nice.

Some day I'll find a levergun in .41.

Well I can't do pictutes but have a 6" 657, a 3" 657 Lew Horton, a Ruger BH Hunter and a 20 oz titanium ported Taurus 415. I've liked the 41 since it came out, passed over a Model 58 years ago (for $125.00) and am still looking for that one.

I have always thought 41 was interesting. My dad had one. Always loved it but due to unforseen circumstances he has been without one for many years. However times are better and he has one waiting for him in jail. I may get one myself after I get to see dad's new toy.

I love the fact that is just 41 Magnum. No Specials for this gun. Just pure mean. Got to love that!

I have a 41 Mag. It is a Ruger Blackhawk, with a 6 1/2 inch barrel. I've owned it for over 30 years.

It is my carry gun, when I am out in the hills. It used to be my home defence gun......but I have gone to a Kimber 1911. Fast follow up shots are a lot more easy with the 1911.

I have taken a lot of game with it over the years. And it has gotten me out of a few tight spots with the two legged varmints.

I think that it is the greatest caliber ever invented!!!! I just sit back and smile when the kids talk about thier "nines"

                  I love the 41 mag!!!!!

                    I forgot.....

I wish Ruger would make the GP100 as a 5 shot 41 Mag!!!
In a 3 or 4 inch barrel, that would be great!!!!!

Years ago I saw one that was done by a gunsmith......NICE!!!!

                    Take care

The only .41 I have is a common or garden variety Smith M58, from back in the '70's...........I don't know, exactly, just how many hundreds of rounds I've run through it, over the years, but its always been reliable.

I like the idea of being able to load at 38spl level for plinking, and yet have the option of serious 'within a few percent of 44 mag level' power when I might be 'trespassing' on Mr Wild Boar's territory, and he might not like me.

                      cheers

I've got a real Jones for the .41Magnum. Got my first one decades back when they first came out. Every type of animail from picket pins to a large range cow, elk, and moose have fallen to the various .41Magnums I have. I use the 210SWCGC for a walkin' around load and have settled on a 250gr.LFNGC for the larger game now. Favorites are my Ruger 3-screw and Marlin 1894 SS LTD .41Magnum carbine. I also like .41 caliber wildcats like the .41Avenger, .410GNR, .41GNR#2, .414SM, and .41Special.

I am a definite fan of the caliber and look forward to getting one. I've missed a couple of 357s on here over the last year or so. It will be mine, oh yes it will be mine.
