SF Bay Area Peninsula FFLs?

Hi everyone,

My first post I've been lurking for a little while now...

I need to find a FFL willing to bring into CA a couple of pistols from an out of state online dealer. I've already asked the one closest to me (Tabor's in San Bruno), but he doesn't do that sort of thing (even for a fee) Said it's too much paperwork.

Does anyone know a dealer in the area willing to do this for a reasonable price?

They handle transfers, and charge $45 plus the $25 DROS fee, I think.

I recommend Cash Loan Inc. in SSF. During the summer I got a few firearms through them for $45 TOTAL, but I think he raised his prices

city arms is great, but they charge $70 ($45 fee + $25 dros). cash loan, inc in south city will only charge $45 flat. i'm using them for my current ffl. a few more hoops to jump thru, but it's a big savings.

High Bridge on Mission Street in SF will probably do it (time is running out though...) - $80 or 10% the cost of the handgun whichever is higher. Are they used pistols? If so, Imbert and Smithers is another choice - $70 per transfer. Give them a call to get the details. Good luck!!

ugh...i wouldn't use high bridge. their prices change based on who answers. one call said $45+$25. another the next day said $75+$25.

btw, don't bother w/bullseye in san rafael...they charge $100+$25.

ok, not hoops, per se. just having to find out the seller's ffl's first-3/last-5 numbers of their license, seller ffl name/fax. it's just an extra step that you don't find out until after. they're pretty strange about giving out their ffl. i think they don't have a complete handle on the latest/greatest batfe regs, but better safe than soory.

my advice is to contact them first so it's just 1 step. email clisales@pacbell.net and they'll send you an email w/instructions for doing a ffl xfer. seems pretty painless, tho.
