Not blasphemy. There are plenty of misguided souls in this crazy world. That doesn't mean they are bad people.

People who CARRY handguns all the time and like revolvers seem to REALLY like PRE LOCK Smith and Wesson models : 65 ( three inch) and 13( three inch). If I was buying a NEW revolver to carry if would be any three inch Ruger 38/357 revolver.

The SP101 is a great carry gun, we keep the bobbed hammer version in stock and sell them all the time. It's perfect for recoil sensitive people with no intention of shooting .357 Mags and for manly men who want a sort of compact .357 Mag they can hit something with.

Having established your priority(s), you next have to set limits on how much you're willing to compromise in the other areas. For example, if you choose "concealability," you may still want no less than a certain caliber, and pay no more than a certain price--so now you're back to compromising on your priority. Bleh.

In your particular case, if you wanted a .38 snubby, go out to a range and rent a few .38 snubbies and decide for yourself how fun they are or are not. Try a .357 snubby. Only you can know how "not fun" it will be for you, and whether it would still be worth it, and whether to compromise size, weight, or caliber.
          A+ to this. Wise words.........
