They are both great guns. It just depends on if you want a SIG P-series, or a 1911. Their 1911's/GSR'S are great guns, BTW.

you can have 220 in sa or da/sa. I have shot the gsr and own a p220 carry, liked them both.

If you want a 1911, there are better options than SIG. If you want a SIG .45, get a P220.

P220. Enough said. I'd contemplate the "carry" model but the combat is a win win. They are just tack drivers.

GSR. Love their 1911's, but hate sig for the most part. Can't find one that fits that I can shoot with accurately outside the GSR series.
