Decision Time: Compact 1911's in .45

Just got these two today, but haven't shot them yet.

Colt Officers with some Wilson Combat custom work (due for a grip change)

    Springfield Armory Loaded Micro Compact

    Range report soon

      Nice gun! Congrats!

      Here is mine:

Colt Officer's ACP in .45 ACP
      Schuemann Ultimatch Barrel
      Novak Sights

Don't know why Officer's model is not that popular in CA. Most people here prefer Government or Commander size.

                  Very nice!!

I would really like an Officer's - but only AFTER I get a full-size and a Commander. I think it would be really cool to have a complete 1911 size collection - including the Mustang - all in exactly the same finish and features.

What kind of government do you guys got here? This is worse than California.

They both shot extremely well today.

Ran FMJ and HP ammo like little champs.

I've chosen the Colt and put the Micro on GB.

                      So be it.
