    Need your opinion please

I am looking at getting another gun, I have a 40 caliber and I love shooting it but the new infer isn't really going to be for me, it's going to ber for my son, and daughter when shr gets older. I'm thinking a 22. If someone has a better caliber option of a 22 preference I would like your input please.

    How old are your kids?

But a .22 caliber pistol or rifle is an excellent way to get kids involved in shooting.

A .22 pistol or rifle is perfect.

A BB rifle would the gun to start with. Then when the young shooter can mentally understand the safety issues and muzzle control " a rifle is better". A bolt 22 action rifle would be next.

Or look at a browning buckmark 22. There easier to clean than the rugers but you do trade a bit of accuracy. I do only mean a bit though. 22 is the way to go for youngsters plus it will be cheap on your pocket book to.
